This Association was established with the aim of protecting the superior rights of the Child, intervening at all levels to fill in the needs that harm the Children the most – protecting them against anything that in some way may put in danger their harmonious and healthy growth (implying by “health” what it’s said in the World Health Organization’s Preface: “State of complete physical, mental and social welfare and not only the lack of illness or disease”).

The “Golden Children” is a Particular Institution of Social Charity, recognized as a Collective Person of Public Charity, and belongs to the Setubal’s Extended Committee of Children and Youth Protection Committee.
