The JuJutsu is highly efficient martial art used by the samurais in old Japan. Currently it keeps its spirit and its traditional efficiency, even so adapted to the existing situations currently. It is a sufficiently complete system where it uses essentially the adaptation and flexibility (Ju), allowing a weak and small person to defeat one or more aggressive stronger graters and, using a vast fan of techniques with beatings, projections, keys and strangulations. It also allows, defences against attacks with weapons, techniques with baton (tanbo), knife (tanto), tonfa, kubotan (kashi-knot-bo), average baton (hanbo), other weapons and techniques of fight in the soil, where many times finish the confrontations. The JuJutsu (the art of flexibility and the adaptation) is enters the martial arts most efficient and potentially most destructive. She is one of the older martial arts; its origin goes beyond the 2,500 years! The Goshin Jujutsu The Goshin Jujutsu is a Jujutsu whose emphasis is given to the trainings with modern weapons (as knives and firearms, police baton, etc.) always in a context of self-defense. The JuJutsu is also the base for many of the arts most modern, including the Judo, the Karate and the Aikido. The Portuguese Federation of Jujutsu was formed in 1995 with the goal to divulge and to promote the practical one of the Jujutsu in Portugal. It participates regularly in activities promoted by the Embassy of Japan and the Association of Friendship Portugal Japan. It has fact all innumerable demonstrations for the country and in the foreigner in the spreading of this martial art. |
