The children of the Foundation had as invited teams the Sporting Club of Portugal (School Sporting Academy Alta de Lisboa), Sport Lisbon and Benfica (Generation Benfica Odivelas/Caneças), Alta de Lisboa and the Recreativo Águias da Musgueira.

They had been more than 120 children who had disputed this match in 2 steps, from 9h to 15h.

It was very important for the accomplishment of this match, the support of the City council of Lisbon, that authorized the field of Alta de Lisboa and a light truck for transport of the children of the Foundation, the Association of Soccer of Lisbon, its advice of referees and the Association of referees of Lisbon, whom they had yielded of gracious form, 6 of its professionals, that had referred all the matches
.
This tournament was played with 2 ages groups, from 10 to the 14 years - initiated and of the 15 to the 17 - youthful, in regimen of phase of groups where the first ones classified played the final, the classified seconds played the game of 3º and 4º place and, 3º place of the group with 3 you equip was automatically in 5º place.

In oldest, trained by Peter Silva, a first game with a first nervous part, against an intent Sporting, made with that the final result was of 4-3 in favor of the lions. Exactly thus, the youngsters of the Foundation had made an excellent 2º half and that they obtained almost a tie. In the game of attribution of 3º and 4º place, the youthful ones of the Foundation had come back to enter without concentration, allowing that the Alta de Lisboa advanced for 3-0 in the marker. 

Full of soul and placing in field, everything what it has learned, had obtained to give the return to the result, arriving exactly in 2º part to be winning for 5-4. Two defensive mistakes, had finished for giving the victory to Alta de Lisboa, being the Foundation in a very good 4º place, in its first tournament.

In the initiates, trained by Bruno de Carvalho, history was different, with soul of Lion and very strong will, the youngsters of the Foundation, win the Sporting for 4-3. In the following game, it was the time of the Benfica to lose by 13-0. In the end, against a team of players accustomed to play in a championship federated, the 4-1 ends in favor of the Águias da Musgueira, had demonstrated to all the value and bravery of the initiates of the Aragão Pinto Foundation. Also its player Zénio was crowned “Best scorer of the Tournament” of initiates, with 12 goals, having been in 2º place, Andre of the Sporting, with 9 goals. The panel of observers of the tournament still distinguished the goal keeper from the Foundation, Fábio, as “ the best goal keeper” of the tournament of initiates.

In the end, a small snack, offered by the Danone company and the delivery of medals to all the players, classified trophies of better goal keeper and scorer and goblets to the 3 first ones, had been the culminate of the tournament, where the joy and conviviality were the mote.

These initiatives, are very important, for the intended evolution, of these young, therefore its integration will be possible with these events that go breaking barriers and diminishing the segregation feeling that this installed in many of these children with fewer possibilities.
